Beautiful. It’s such a simple image, but it carries so much meaning. What first came to mind when I saw it was standing alone and being able to find light and peace within yourself. The photo actually made me think of this Ralph Waldo Emerson quote that I’ve always loved:
“It is easy in the world to live after the world’s opinions; it is easy in solitude to live after your own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude”
Was this the previous fun moon? I was in Seattle for the last fun moon. I was admiring it as it sat right next to Mt. Rainier. My camera was broken so I couldn’t capture the moment. Thanks for leaving me with an image of its magic! Great picture!
